The Illinois concealed carry permit certification requires that every applicant complete 16 hours of training with range qualification. Our class is comprised of two, eight hour segments. The first segment of the class consists of six hours of classroom time covering gun safety, basic firearm knowledge and the basics of marksmanship, followed by two hours of live fire on the shooting range. The second segment of the class consists of eight hours classroom covering Illinois laws pertaining to the "Concealed Carry Act" and the legal use of deadly force with a firearm.
Our concealed carry course is all-inclusive: instructors, classroom, range fees, firearms, eye and ear protection, ammunition, targets, printed material, and refreshments. All students are required to use our firearms and will have a choice between a .22 rimfire semi-auto pistol or revolver for their qualification. After the course is completed, allow three days for certificates to be processed before picking up in store.
